Colnaghi Studies Journal
A scholarly periodical, published biannually by the Colnaghi Foundation, devoted to significant pre-twentieth-century artworks and their histories.
Scholarly Excellence
The Colnaghi Studies Journal focuses on works that have recently come to light or are the subject of new research, as well as on the formation and interpretation of collections. Submissions are evaluated by an international Editorial Committee of specialists in painting, sculpture, architecture, conservation, decorative arts, and the history of collecting.
The journal publishes articles and case studies that combine close visual analysis with rigorous contextual discussion and comparative imagery.
